On July 5th, 1975, Mitchell was voted Entertainer of the Year for a second term. On this date, he also walked away with the Best Calypso of the Year Trophy, plus a Gold Record (donated by Atlantic Corporation) for the Best Album of the Year 1974\/1975 for 'Ya Mama Again'.
