Because our catalog includes a combination of in-stock, supplier-stocked, backordered, and preorder items, fulfillment timelines may vary depending on inventory availability and supplier replenishment schedules.

Our systems are designed to give customers full visibility and control over their orders throughout the fulfillment process.

1. Order Types & Inventory Availability

Products available on our website may fall into one of the following inventory categories:

In Stock
Items currently available and ready for fulfillment.

Supplier Stock
Items available through our supplier network and queued for fulfillment upon purchase.

Backorder
Items temporarily unavailable but available for reservation and future fulfillment once inventory becomes available again.

Preorder
Upcoming releases scheduled to ship on or around the official release date provided by the manufacturer or distributor.

Product availability statuses are displayed throughout the shopping experience whenever possible.

2. Payment & Order Reservation

All orders are charged at checkout, including backordered and preorder items.

Purchasing a backordered or preorder item reserves your place in the fulfillment queue and secures inventory allocation once stock becomes available.

Customers can manage eligible unfulfilled items directly through their customer account portal, including cancellation requests and certain order edits prior to shipment.

3. Order Processing & Fulfillment

Orders enter processing shortly after payment is successfully completed.

Fulfillment timelines vary depending on:

  • Product availability
  • Supplier replenishment schedules
  • Warehouse processing volume
  • Carrier delays
  • Seasonal demand

Orders containing multiple inventory types may be fulfilled and shipped separately as items become available.

Processing times are estimates only and are not guaranteed shipping or delivery windows.

4. Backorder Fulfillment

Backordered items are fulfilled in the order they are purchased.

Restock timelines (3 to 6 months on average) may vary depending on supplier manufacturing, distribution, and inventory replenishment schedules. Estimated fulfillment windows are subject to change and are not guaranteed.

Some backordered items may take extended periods of time to become available depending on supplier production schedules and market availability.

Customers can monitor the fulfillment status of backordered items directly through their customer account portal.

5. Customer Order Management

Our customer portal allows customers to manage eligible orders and track fulfillment progress in real time.

Depending on order status, customers may be able to:

  • Cancel unfulfilled backordered items
  • Track shipment progress
  • Review fulfillment status updates
  • Monitor partially fulfilled orders
  • Update certain account or shipping information

Order edit availability may vary depending on fulfillment stage and processing status.

6. Partial Shipments

Orders containing multiple items may ship separately depending on inventory availability.

In-stock or available items may be fulfilled before backordered or preorder items become available.

Customers may receive multiple shipments, tracking numbers, and delivery dates for a single order.

7. Shipment Notifications & Tracking

Customers will receive automated email notifications throughout the fulfillment process, including:

  • Order confirmations
  • Fulfillment updates
  • Shipment confirmations
  • Tracking information
  • Important order status changes

Tracking information is typically sent once a shipment has been transferred to the carrier.

8. Shipping Carriers & Delivery

Vinyl Vista ships using trusted national and international shipping carriers.

Carrier selection may vary based on:

  • Package weight and dimensions

  • Operational requirements

Once a package has been transferred to the carrier, delivery timelines are subject to the carrier’s operations and service conditions.

Vinyl Vista is not responsible for carrier transit delays after shipment acceptance.
