Alleviated Records is proud to present a special re-issue of the 'Alien' project. Larry Heard's productions always hinted at deepest outer space, but 'Alien' was his first actual science-fiction record. It's almost as polished as the most mainstream dance production, but just as sublime as any Detroit producer. Heard's house roots often show themselves, while the chords and shimmering production make this an album almost on par with Heard's mid-'80s peak. The project was a recording & sound-development experiment that was mostly constructed around a Korg O1/W workstation keyboard that was left at Larry's place. The album was originally released in 1996 on the UK label Black Market International as a single LP with only 6 of the songs featureded here. This double vinyl repress includes 3 tracks that were previously available only on the CD format, totaling nearly 28 minutes of additional music. Tracklisting: A1. Faint Object Detection (4:33) A2. Orders containing multiple inventory types may ship separately as items become available.

When will I receive a tracking number?
We provide tracking for every order. Tracking will be available once your product is shipped. All of our products are shipped out of our warehouse in Westlake Village, CA. You can track your order through your account on our website, via any of the shipping confirmation emails we've sent you, or through the Shop App.
Can I cancel my order?
Customers may cancel eligible unfulfilled items at any time before they enter the shipping process directly through their customer account portal. Once an item has entered shipment processing or has shipped, it becomes subject to our standard Returns & Refund Policy.
