Led by Tuomas Saukkonen (Wolfheart, Dawn Of Solace), the band follows up their celebrated comeback Stormbringers (2023) with a powerful new chapter of Karelian melancholy and crushing metal anthems. The chemistry within the band - now featuring vocalist Paavo Laapotti and the seasoned lineup of Juho Räihä (guitars) and Pyry Hanski (bass) - has reached an alltime high. Capturing the momentum of their first European tour in 14 years, the band recorded Cold Flare Eternal with intense live energy and emotional depth. Produced at SoundSpiral Studios by guitarist Juho Räihä, mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen, the album showcases Before the Dawn's signature blend of furious heaviness, soaring melodies, and Nordic atmosphere. The lead single "As Above, So Below" sets the tone with it's Hermetic themes and sweeping dynamics.
