Tetsuro Yafune, 7-inch single cut from 'Interior Music - Caf_ Apr_s-midi meets ACME Furniture' supervised and selected by Toru Hashimoto (SUBURBIA) From the double-named compilation 'Interior Music - Caf_ Apr_s-midi meets ACME Furniture, ' supervised and selected by Toru Hashimoto (SUBURBIA) to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Cafe Apr_s-midi and BAYCREW'S interior brand ACME Furniture's collaboration project, a new song 'Haven't We Met' recorded by Tetsuro Yafune, a cover of Kenny Rankin's classic song, will be released as a 7-inch single on Wednesday, December 11, 2024! A great coupling of a wonderful cover of Kenny Rankin's classic song 'Haven't We Met' newly recorded by Tetsuro Yafune and a wonderful cover of Eartha Kitt's classic 'Santa Baby' by The French Impressionists! A delightful 7-inch single cut from the double-name compilation 'Interior Music - Caf_ Apr_s-midi meets ACME Furniture, ' supervised and selected by Toru Hashimoto (SUBURBIA) to commemorate the realization of a collaboration project between Café Apr_s-midi, celebrating it's 25th anniversary, and BAYCREW'S interior brand ACME Furniture! The selection of songs by Toru Hashimoto (SUBURBIA) on the theme of 'the marriage of furniture and music' includes a selection of the finest songs that have colored the comfortable atmosphere of Cafe Apres-Midi, including covers of classic songs by Sade, Weldon Irvine, Roger Nichols, and others, as well as newly recorded covers of wonderful classics such as Wack Wack Rhythm Band's The Style Council's 'My Ever Changing Moods, ' Yafune Tetsuro's Kenny Rankin's 'Haven't We Met, ' and Uyama Hiroto's The Isley Brothers' '(At Your Best) You Are Love, ' as well as superb new remixes by Mixmaster Morris of Calm x Holger Czukay's 'Persian Love' and Calm's Yoshiharu Takeda x Bobby Hutcherson's 'Montara'! The artwork was done by graphic designer FJD (also known as Jiro Fujita), who has worked on numerous musical works including Nujabes, and the mastering was done by Calm, a top Japanese artist in the jazz, chill-out and Balearic genres who is highly acclaimed overseas.
