TOKIMEKI RECORDS / HIKARI, The worldwide music project 'Tokimeki Records,' which focuses on city pop and is known for covering and rediscovering iconic 80s-90s J-POP hits, releases a new cover single featuring Hikari (Mime) on vocals! Side A features a fresh cover of the legendary singer Junko Yagami's 1982 song 'Summer in Summer. ' On Side B is a 2024 version cover of the song 'Summer Beach,' originally written by Ami Ozaki and released as a single in 1985 by Yukiko Okada! Both tracks retain the mellow and glittering melodies of the originals, while Tokimeki Records' arrangements capture the danceable future funk sound with an 80s shimmer. Hikari (Mime)'s vocals express the breezy, ocean-inspired lyrics and melodies with cool, solid neo-soul style. The cover art is an artistic surf photo by surf photographer Atsushi Kumano, reflecting the world of the song. When will I receive a tracking number?
We provide tracking for every order. Tracking will be available once your product is shipped. All of our products are shipped out of our warehouse in Westlake Village, CA.
