Mariko Ide, This is the first 7' single cut project from the album 'Ghibli HOUSE essential PIANO set', which blends the beautiful melodies of the original Ghibli classic songs with the vibrancy and exuberance of house! 'Yasashisa Ni Tsutsumareta Nara' is a bold house arrangement of Yumi Arai's (Yumi Matsutoya) 1974 ending theme song for the movie 'Kiki's Delivery Service. The beautiful melody of the piano and Mariko Ide's clear voice make this song exciting. The B-side 'Kaze No Tani No Nausicaa (English Ver.)' is an English-language house cover by Hoen of Narumi Yasuda's classic song with lyrics by Takashi Matsumoto and music by Haruomi Hosono. The original's lighthearted impression is maintained, but the result is more exhilarating and danceable. A must-have for Ghibli fans and house fans alike! SIDE A 1.
