Double vinyl LP pressing includes bonus CD edition. 2015 album from the Northern California indie rockers. The voyage is long, the voyage is joyous. Out to Sea is the most focused of all Carlton Melton's recordings to date. Leaving their geodesic dome behind, they hitched their magick karpet to San Francisco's El Studio for a fried weekend in July 2014 with The F***ing Champs / Trans Am's Phil Manley at the production helm (and occasionally contributing to the furor-Manley plays guitar on "Similarities" and synth on "Peaking Duck"). Out to Sea sees Carlton Melton expand the psychedelia and free outrock sound of their previous output to its furthest horizons. Huge rhythms, outta space riffage, sparkling synths, pastoral passages, searing shards of molten guitar, smothered ambience and gentle guitar-picking all flow together into waves of sound to lap at the shores of your senses. We're gonna need a bigger boat.

Backordered Items
Some items may be available on Backorder if inventory is temporarily unavailable.
When purchasing a backordered item:

- Items are fulfilled in the order they are purchased
Most backorders are fulfilled within approximately 3–6 months, though timelines may occasionally be longer depending on supplier manufacturing, distributor allocations, repress schedules, or inventory availability.

Preorder items are upcoming releases scheduled to ship on or around the official release date provided by the label or distributor.

When will I receive a tracking number?
We provide tracking for every order. Tracking will be available once your product is shipped. All of our products are shipped out of our warehouse in Westlake Village, CA. You can track your order through your account on our website, via any of the shipping confirmation emails we've sent you, or through the Shop App.
Can I cancel my order?
Customers may cancel eligible unfulfilled items at any time before they enter the shipping process directly through their customer account portal. Once an item has entered shipment processing or has shipped, it becomes subject to our standard Returns & Refund Policy.
