Sword-fighting, vampire-slaying and gothic atmosphere in a gleeful genre mash-up - Captain Kronos - Vampire Hunter is one of the most gloriously bombastic films in the Hammer canon, and it's score matches it - beat for outrageous beat. Released on vinyl for the very first time, this double-disc LP features nearly 55 minutes of a rousing, swashbuckling Laurie Johnson score. By August 1972, legendary composer Laurie Johnson - a close associate and friend of Clemens since they first worked together on The Avengers in the 1960s - had composed and created a score that was then synchronised against Clemens's visuals by Hammer's music supervisor Phil Martell. By turns stirring, romantic, unsettling and bombastic, this much-requested, highly memorable score is made available here on vinyl for the first time anywhere in the world. 2-LP set pressed on blue vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve with illustrated inserts and extensive liner notes
