Miles Tilmann, Vinyl only release. Steven Hess (Pan American, Fessenden, Haptic and the Dropp Ensemble) and the experimental electronic composer Miles Tilmann (Consumer Research, Sub: Marine, Toytronic) come together to present Departures - their forthcoming vinyl-only release on Other Electricities. Hess creates a unique hybrid of improvised percussion and electronics, where Tilmann's deep bass tones and sublime waves of sound converse with Hess's intricate rhythms and textures: The sonic equivalent of a complex series of weather systems that assemble, unfold and disintegrate according to their own logic. Simultaneously intriguing and elusive through their manipulation of sound's depth of field, they successfully incorporate this often underused element, pressurizing shimmering pulses alongside chaotic decays. For Fans of: Fourtet/Kieren Hebden and Steven Reid, Andrew Pekler, Biosphere.

When will I receive a tracking number?
We provide tracking for every order. Tracking will be available once your product is shipped. All of our products are shipped out of our warehouse in Westlake Village, CA. You can track your order through your account on our website, via any of the shipping confirmation emails we've sent you, or through the Shop App.
Can I cancel my order?
Customers may cancel eligible unfulfilled items at any time before they enter the shipping process directly through their customer account portal. Once an item has entered shipment processing or has shipped, it becomes subject to our standard Returns & Refund Policy.
