Mastered for vinyl by Rob Colwell (Coroner, King's X, Nevermore), the full depth of the Cowboys' sound is brought to life with even greater warmth and clarity. Produced by drummer Alan Doss, The Horse That Bud Bought blends progressive rock, metal, and deeply personal storytelling. The album title comes from a real-life event recounted by bassist Monty Colvin, whose family's experience with a cult in Oregon inspires the lyrics of the song "Oregon." Colvin, who also creates the album's striking cover art, infuses his unique artistic vision throughout.
