Libretto & Buscrates, Two new remixes from XL Middleton & C. Scott act as the final pieces of the puzzle for Libretto & Buscrates' celebrated "Eternal Ridin" project. XL Middleton's rework of the title track from the LP transforms the song into an instant G-Funk & Hip-Hop anthem. The intersection of Libretto's commanding lyrical presence atop the finest in Modern Funk production showcases an undeniable Los Angeles chemistry between the emcee & producer. With additional help from Moniquea on the chorus, XL's Eternal Ridin' Remix sounds like it was tailor made for endless summer days. Up and coming Pittsburgh producer C. Scott takes "(When The) Music Is On" and amplifies it's classic east coast vibes. While Buscrates' original version took it's musical inspiration from the legendary Gang Starr, C. Scott's signature hard hitting drums and precise chops provide a remix very much in the Q-Tip & Large Professor production tradition. Libretto's meditation on artistic relevance over C. Scott's timeless & intricately layered boom-bap make a b-side winner that will undoubtedly find it's home on a ton of Hip-Hop mix-shows & playlists.
