In This Moment, Originally released in 2008, The Dream marked a defining creative leap for In This Moment. Moving away from the metalcore intensity of their debut, the band embraced a more melodic and cinematic approach-drawing from '80s-influenced hard rock, modern metal, and emotionally charged atmospheres. The album unfolds with intention, balancing explosive highs with haunting restraint. Guitars remain powerful yet textured, rhythms groove with confidence, and melody takes center stage. Vocalist Maria Brink leans more heavily into singing, expanding the band's emotional range while maintaining the intensity that made them stand out. The 2026 Brutal Planet Records edition presents The Dream in it's most immersive vinyl form to date. This pressing is mastered for vinyl by Rob Colwell (Arsonist Gets All the Girls, iwrestledabearonce, My Ruin) and includes a masterful 12×12 full-color lyrics insert, packed with artwork and photos that enhance the album's visual and emotional impact. Pressed for the first time ever on Blood-Red Vinyl, this variant is strictly limited to just 500 copies worldwide, making it a must-have for collectors and longtime fans alike.
