Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. Shades of Soul explores the sophisticated side of Northern Soul with a smooth collection of soulful recordings that have, over time, become known as crossover; a bridge between northern soul and philly disco. Here we have perennial dancefloor favorites from Gene Townsel, Johnny Adams, Eddie Billups and Jackey Beavers plus more recent reactivations such as "I've Just Got To Tell Somebody" by Gloria Lynne thanks to DJ Richard Searling. We also feature the rarest of the rare courtesy of Point Of View, The Harmonics and Gerald Taylor. Sixteen mid and up-tempo grooves that showcase the crossover from Northern to Modern Soul. This first edition of Shades of Soul is presented complete with liner notes and Club Soul insert. Shades of Soul joins a growing catalog of premium music on the Club Soul imprint - including newly compiled LPs that celebrate the clubs of the original Northern Soul Scene - The Scene Club, The Twisted Wheel, Wigan Casino Soul Club and Catacombs.

Preorder items are upcoming releases scheduled to ship on or around the official release date provided by the label or distributor.

When will I receive a tracking number?
We provide tracking for every order. Tracking will be available once your product is shipped. All of our products are shipped out of our warehouse in Westlake Village, CA. You can track your order through your account on our website, via any of the shipping confirmation emails we've sent you, or through the Shop App.
Can I cancel my order?
Customers may cancel eligible unfulfilled items at any time before they enter the shipping process directly through their customer account portal. Once an item has entered shipment processing or has shipped, it becomes subject to our standard Returns & Refund Policy.
