Chicago 17 was one of Chicago's biggest selling albums in a long line of multiplatinum smash albums which began in 1969. Featuring the original award winning line-up of Robert Lamm (lead vocals/keyboards), Peter Cetera (lead vocals/bass), Bill Champlin (lead vocals/guitars-keys), the legendary horns of James Pankow (trombone), Lee Loughnane (trumpet), Walter Parazaider (saxophone/woodwinds), plus Danny Seraphine (drums), Chicago 17 is undoubtedly one of the biggest selling albums of the eighties and also one of the most revered offerings in their huge catalog. Buoyed by the success of huge hit singles like You're the Inspiration, Hard Habit to Break, Stay the Night and Along Comes a Woman, Chicago filled this recording session up with so many great songs, it could be it's own greatest hits collection. It's been several decades since the rare original vinyl version of Chicago 17 has been available... that is until now! Friday Music is very honored to continue the CHICAGO 180 GRAM AUDIOPHILE VINYL SERIES with their masterpiece Chicago I7. Mastered impeccably from the original Chicago Records master tapes by Joe Reagoso at Friday Music Studios and Capitol Records in Hollywood, CA, along with Chicago's Lee Loughnane, this album is truly a thrilling first time audiophile vinyl release. For this special limited edition, also included the original full color album cover in gatefold style featuring the rare lyrics and photo of the band, complete with all the great music you will always remember from this historic release.

Your Options: In case of a significant delay, we will provide options for you to either continue with the order based on the new release date or to cancel the pre-order if you prefer.
Backorder Items:
Estimated Shipping Time: Backordered items generally ship between 3 to 6 months after your order is placed.
Volatile Nature: Due to dependencies on the label supplies, backordered items can sometimes take longer than 6 months. However, there are also instances where they ship within a few weeks.
Communication: We will keep you updated on the status of your backordered items.
