UK 180gm vinyl LP pressing. Muddy 'Mississippi' Waters Live (1979) is a live album by Blues guitarist Muddy Waters. The recording was awarded the Grammy for Best Ethnic or Traditional Folk Recording in 1979. Accompanied by Johnny Winter and his band, Muddy Waters turns in an enthusiastic performance on Muddy 'Mississippi' Waters Live. The set list contains most of his biggest hits, and the sound quality and performances are energetic. Containing the Waters classic 'Deep Down in Florida' the album mainly consists of superb renditions of Blues standards.
