Vinyl LP pressing of this 2015 holiday release. William "Count" Basie (1904-1984) started his orchestra in Kansas City in 1935, and proceeded to develop and maintain one of the greatest jazz orchestras in music history. With Mr. Basie s meticulous attention to detail, selecting the very best musicians, and making sure that every tune could be danced to, The Count Basie Orchestra soon became the favorite for everyone to listen and dance to with it's irresistible "Kansas City stomp" style. Today, under the leadership of it's Director, Scotty Barnhart, The Count Basie Orchestra is traveling the world celebrating it's 80th Anniversary and continuing the excellent standards in swinging and shouting the blues with precision, and continuing to be "The Most Explosive Force In Jazz." The Count Basie Orchestra releases it's first Christmas album, A Very Swingin' Basie Christmas! The 19-piece band is accompanied with the guest vocals of Johnny Mathis on "It's The Holiday Season," Ledisi on "The Christmas Song" and Carmen Bradford on "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." Additionally, Ellis Marsalis (Piano) and Plas Johnson (saxophone) are guest musicians on "I'll Be Home For Christmas."

In Stock Items
Only items that are currently available can be purchased on our website.
Shipping Time:

Out of Stock Items (Backorder Queue)
If an item is currently unavailable, you’ll see the option to “Join Backorder Queue.”
Here’s how it works:
Join the queue for the record you want.
When it comes back in stock, customers are notified in the order they joined.
If inventory is limited, notifications are sent in batches.
When you receive a notification, you’ll have a limited window (typically 24 hours) to complete your purchase before it moves to the next person in line - IF inventory is limited.
Joining the queue does NOT require payment.
This system ensures fairness and prevents overselling.
Release Updates
If an upcoming title has a scheduled release date (pre-order items), the product page will reflect the most current expected timeline.
If release dates change, the product page will be updated accordingly. Once the item becomes available, it will be added as an in stock item.
*Pre-Order items use the same queue system as Backorder items.
When will I receive a tracking number?
We provide tracking for every order. Tracking will be available once your product is shipped. All of our products are shipped out of our warehouse in Westlake Village, CA. You can track your order through your account on our website, via any of the shipping confirmation emails we've sent you, or through the Shop App.
Can I cancel my order?
Orders may be canceled any time before they ship. Once an order has shipped, it falls under our standard return policy.
