Saucy Lady, Calling all boogie, funk, and disco house lovers to the floor, Saucy Lady's much awaited 4th album has arrived. 'Love Fest' features groove heavyweight drummers Jay Mumford (Du-Rites) and Derrick McKenzie (Jamiroquai) who carry the album onto a new plateau of funkdom. This Beantown Disco Queen's modernized and creatively reimagined cover tunes released over the past decade has been quite sought after on vinyl and this album does not disappoint in that front, which includes 3 originals and 4 classic covers, all on the topic of love. The insatiable tunes originally created by M'Tume, Chic, Surface, Bobby Caldwell have been flipped to fit both the at-home audiophile hi-fi listeners and DJs that need instant floor fillers. The original tunes, such as 'Silver Haze' has the lyricism and vocal harmony stacks which are deliciously unique and alluring. The album is produced by Saucy Lady and her long-time musical partner Yuki 'U-KEY' Kanesaka aka 'monolog', released by Dippin' Records, Saucy's own label that's been thrusting out vinyl releases with juicy jams after jams since it's inception.
