Release Date: 12/18/2020
Smokey tint cassette. 22 release from the rock legend. 5 years following the release of his self-titled first solo album McCartney, featuring Paul playing every instrument and writing and recording every song, Paul McCartney releases McCartney III. Paul hadn't planned to release an album in 22, but in the isolation of Rockdown, he soon found himself fleshing out some existing musical sketches and creating even more new ones. Before long an eclectic collection of spontaneous songs would become McCartney III: a stripped back, self-produced and, quite literally, solo work marking the opening of a new decade, in the tradition of 197's McCartney and 198's McCartney II. Recorded earlier this year in Sussex, McCartney III is mostly built from live takes of Paul on vocals and guitar or piano, overdubbing his bass playing, drumming, etc. Atop that foundation. McCartney III spans a vast and intimate range of modes and moods, from soul searching to wistful, from playful to raucous and all points between - captured with some of the same gear from Paul's Rude Studio used as far back as 1971 Wings sessions.

Your Options: In case of a significant delay, we will provide options for you to either continue with the order based on the new release date or to cancel the pre-order if you prefer.
Backorder Items:
Estimated Shipping Time: Backordered items generally ship between 3 to 6 months after your order is placed.
Volatile Nature: Due to dependencies on the label supplies, backordered items can sometimes take longer than 6 months. However, there are also instances where they ship within a few weeks.
Communication: We will keep you updated on the status of your backordered items. We dispatch a weekly email featuring all the items that have been restocked over the week, ensuring you stay current with our latest arrivals. This way, you won't miss out on any updates regarding the items we've replenished.
